Dr. Jamali started his career as a general dentist and dedicated 9 years to patient care. His pursuit of excellence was manifested in his cosmetic dentistry cases that were completed during that period. Dr. Jamali completed one year of surgical internship at Downstate Medical Center followed by four years of residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, one of the largest level one trauma centers in the country. During his residency, he received extensive training which included rotations through internal medicine, anesthesia, general surgery/trauma, plastic surgery, and otolaryngology.
The complexity of the anatomy of the face is what continues to inspire Dr. Jamali as he combines his artistic ability and appreciation for aesthetics with medicine. Whether it’s pathology, trauma or reconstructive surgery, Dr. Jamali gets incredible satisfaction from positive patient outcomes.

His Approach to Medicine
Medicine is continuously advancing. Therefore, Dr. Jamali dedicates a significant amount of his free time to continuing education in oral and maxillofacial reconstruction.
